That was former Fox News anchor Tucker Carlson in an apparent text sent to a producer hours after the deadly attacks on the Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021 by supporters of former President Donald Trump, the New York Times reported Tuesday.
In the contents of that text obtained by the newspaper, Carlson discusses how he was watching a street fight in Washington, where “a group of Trump guys surrounded an Antifa kid” and started beating him up. Antifa refers to a U.S. left-wing, anti fascist and anti-racist political movement.
