I live in a care home, and the costs are overwhelming. How can I qualify for Medicaid without spending down all my assets?

Due to a series of health events, I am in an unexpected situation. I was in the hospital, a rehabilitation facility, and now I am in an adult-care home. I have had cerebral palsy all of my life. My health insurance stopped paying for my care while I was in the rehab facility.
