Shares of AMC Entertainment Holdings Inc. snapped a five-day losing streak Monday and registered their biggest single-day percentage gain in almost a month.
AMC’s stock
AMC,
gained 2.3%, outpacing the S&P 500’s
SPX
gain of 1.4%, and enjoyed its biggest single-day percentage gain since Dec. 11, when it gained 2.6%. AMC shares also bounced back from record lows last week, reflecting the demise of its meme-stock status.
