signed a definitive agreement to buy Moogsoft, an AI-driven provider of intelligent monitoring solutions that support development operations and information technology operations.
A purchase price and terms for the deal weren’t disclosed. Details will be provided when the transaction closes, which is expected in the third quarter.
The Round Rock, Texas-based company said Moogsoft would boost Dell’s AIOps capabilities, as part of its longstanding approach of embedding AI functionality within its product portfolio.
Moogsoft was described as an observability leader that provides intelligent monitoring solutions for smart DevOps. The company’s service lets software engineers, developers and operators “instantly see everything, know what’s wrong and fix it faster.”
