stock rose 1%. The company’s board extended Chief Executive Bob Iger’s contract for two more years through December 2026.

Stock decliners:

Shares of MillerKnoll Inc.
MLKN,
+3.39%

dropped by as much as 6% in the extended session on Wednesday after the furniture and furnishings maker reported quarterly sales that dropped 13%, saying that the macro-economic environment continues to be challenging for its higher-end products.

ViaSat Inc. shares
VSAT,
-1.67%

were moving 20% lower after the communications company disclosed an issue with one of its satellites that could materially impact its performance.
