S&P 500 futures edge lower as November rally pauses

U.S. stocks started Tuesday mostly lower as the November rally takes another breath and investors wait for a new read on inflation later this week.

On Monday, the Dow Jones Industrial Average DJIA fell 57 points, or 0.16%, to 35,333, the S&P 500 SPX declined 9 points, or 0.2%, to 4,550, and the Nasdaq Composite COMP dropped 10 points, or 0.07%, to 14,241.
