U.S. dollar falls to over one-year low after CPI data shows inflation slowing again in June

The U.S. dollar fell Wednesday after the consumer-price index for June showed the rate of inflation slowing to the lowest level since 2021. 

The ICE U.S. Dollar Index DXY, a measure of the currency against a basket of six major rivals, fell to 100.58 on Wednesday, on pace for the lowest level since April 2022, according to Dow Jones Market Data.
