U.S. stocks were trading mixed after the open on Friday amid light trading volume during a shortened post-Thanksgiving session.

How are stocks trading?

On Wednesday, the Dow industrials added 184.74 points or 0.5% to finish at 35,273.03, the highest level since August 14. The S&P 500 rose 0.4% to 4556.62, its highest since Aug.1, while the Nasdaq Composite advanced 0.5% to end at 14,265.86
