The United Auto Workers on Wednesday launched a push to unionize workers at Tesla Inc., in Toyota Motor Corp.’s U.S. operations and at several other carmakers.

The organizing drive will cover nearly 150,000 automobile workers across at least 13 carmakers, the union said.

Earlier this month, the UAW and the Big Three U.S. carmakers ratified a four-year contract after nearly six weeks of strikes at several plants and facilities of Ford Motor Co.

The new contract spelled big wins for workers, including pay raises of around 25% over the contract’s life plus cost-of-living adjustments, the end of several wage tiers, and better retirement benefits.

During the strike, UAW President Shawn Fain said several times that the union would focus on a unionizing push at the non-union carmakers beyond the UAW’s Midwest stronghold.

On Wednesday, the UAW said that one of its “strongest campaigns” is at Toyota’s Georgetown, Ky., assembly complex, where 7,800 workers make Toyota Camrys, RAV 4 SUVs and others.

“To all the auto workers out there working without the benefits of a union: Now it’s your turn,” Fain said in a video.

Toyota and others announced raises for workers around the time a tentative agreement between the UAW and companies was reached.
