Wendy’s chili will soon be sold in stores. But can it measure up to the dine-in dish?

In my book, there are only a few things in the world of fast food with that special something. McDonald’s MCD fries. Dairy Queen’s Blizzards. Subway’s tuna salad.

But perhaps above them all is that concoction known as Wendy’s chili — leftover hamburger meat in a soupy sauce that equates to something unlike any version of the classic dish you’ve known, and yet is weirdly delicious just the same.
